BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Duncansville man is facing charges after he was accused of sexually assaulting a woman following an argument. Hollidaysburg police were sent to a Sheetz store at 1100 Blair Street in Hollidaysburg on Saturday, May 24 for a woman who claimed she had been raped by Dennis Miller, 44, at his home in Duncansville. The woman was taken to UPMC Altoona, where she continued to speak with officers.

BLAIR COUNTY, Pa. (WTAJ) — A Clearfield man is in jail after police say he led them in a high-speed chase in a stolen truck across Blair and Bedford counties. Donald Meyer, 50, was arrested on I-99 in Altoona Thursday evening after the chase ended when the truck crashed in a construction zone on the Plank Road overpass at Exit 31. According to a criminal complaint, Meyer stole the 2024 Chevy Silverado at Reed Street in Clearfield.

UNIVERSITY PARK, Pa. (WTAJ) — After nearly two hours of discussion and debate during a special meeting, the Penn State University Board of Trustees voted to close seven commonwealth campuses that they say have seen significant declines in enrollment. Toward the end of the meeting, which was publicly livestreamed on Penn State’s website at 5 p.m. Thursday, Board Chair David Kleppinger motioned for the board to hold a vote on the campus closures.
