    Hundreds of thousands of people across Ontario were still without power Monday after freezing rain coated swaths of the province with thick layers of ice, with outages expected to last in some areas as storm cleanup continues. An outage map from provincial utility Hydro One showed more than 396,000 homes and businesses remained without power as of early Monday evening – and some areas near Georgian Bay may not have power restored until Friday.

    Delta Air Lines says all but two passengers injured Monday when a plane crashed and flipped on the tarmac at Toronto’s Pearson airport have been released from hospitals as of this morning. Delta says in a social media post that 19 out of 21 passengers initially taken to Toronto-area hospitals have since been released as the investigation into the cause of the crash continues.

    Flights have resumed at Toronto's Pearson airport, but two runways are closed as investigators from Canada's Transportation Safety Board begin their work on what may have caused a plane crash Monday. A clear visual of the the Delta CRJ900, operated by Endeavor Air as Flight DL4819 from Minneapolis St. Paul, crash-landed at Toronto Pearson International Airport on Monday, flipping onto its side on the snow-covered Runway 24R, but miraculously, all the occupants survived.
