In what may well be another battle between Panini America and Fanatics to sign members of the 2025 NFL Draft class, Panini scored a big win Monday, announcing an exclusive trading card autograph deal with Colorado two-way star Travis Hunter. According to ESPN's Adam Schefter, Hunter currently expected to be taken by the Cleveland Browns with the second pick when the selection process begins in Green Bay on April 24.

PSA has spent a lot of time grading, encapsulating and shipping Shohei Ohtani cards since the end of the 2024 Major League Baseball season. Between last November, after the LA Dodgers captured the World Series, and the end of last month, the company graded 87,300 Ohtani cards-or on average, about 727 per day and 30 of them every hour, every day since the day after Halloween. Ohtani easily topped the company's list of baseball cards that were graded more than any other during the MLB offseason.

Panini America is producing a basketball product focused on one of the country's top college basketball programs. The University of Connecticut boxes will showcase the school's powerhouse men's and women's basketball teams, including both current and former players. The product is Panini's first NIL set created for a school, with more scheduled for release in the coming months, according to the company.

Say the name "Tango Eggs" to a collector of vintage baseball cards and their ears will perk up. The obscure set was virtually unknown until the 1990s and the vast majority of the several hundred cards that have found their way to the open market since that time came out of two collections. Now, the only known PSA graded example of the one that shows Ty Cobb at the plate is hitting the auction block for the first time in nearly six years.
