The Office of Rail and Road (ORR) has recommended that rail fare enforcement is overhauled and made fairer in a new review of the current system. The ORR review was commissioned by the previous transport secretary Louise Haigh in September 2024, after it emerged that operators were using a fast-tracked process called a ‘Single Justice Procedure’ to prosecute fare evaders. Nice visit to see the new LNWR 730/2 today at Northampton! Overall, quite impressed! Expected to enter traffic in early June I'll of course do a full write up for @RAIL over the coming weeks https://t.co/6gZ3xtbyVx

Very apt given what is happening on Saturday but another one of my absolute favourite liveries of recent years! 350104 just about to pull away in its 2023 Eurovision livery at Milton Keynes https://t.co/Tu7vwCEUl9
