AbstractBackground: Many patients receive routine medications for long-term conditions (LTCs). Doctors typically issue repeat prescriptions in one to three month durations, but England currently has no national guidance on the optimal duration. Aim: Describe current prescription durations for common LTCs in England, explore and visualise geographical variation, and identify practice factors associated with shorter prescribing duration to inform policy making.

We have developed 11 key measures of clinical activity and using the OpenSAFELY platform, we executed a federated analysis of changes in these measures throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, across 48 million adults registered at 6389 general practices in England. These key measures demonstrated substantial changes in clinical activity.

The income from a REIT investing in another UK REIT is treated as income of the investing REIT's tax exempt property rental business provided the investing REIT distributes to its investors 100% of the property income distribution it receives from investing in another REIT. Tax charges can arise if any of the conditions for qualifying for REIT status are breached, although some minor breaches can be disregarded.
