A theme park in November during a storm might not sound like the best way to entertain a four-year-old, but with a bit of festive magic and a visit to Santa, anything is possible. It certainly seemed the perfect recipe for a good day out for my young son who has been wanting me to put the Christmas tree up since the beginning of November.

It's international Pi Day today because it's March 14. In the US, that's written as 3/14 - the first three numbers of Pi.There are quite a few more after that though. Many, many more actually - it is an infinite number, so we can never actually get to the end of it. But we know you've all been wondering what the 100,000th digit of pi is. Well, it's right here at the end of this article - and it's a good one. Don't say we don't treat you.
