But the early goal didn’t phase the Kings, who quickly regrouped and controlled the vast majority of the contest, storming back to claim an impressive 3-1 victory in the prestigous Kenai tournament.

    All of the Kayhi spring sports teams are in action this weekend, with the majority of teams playing on the road. The Kings baseball squad, which will play four games in three nights against Chugiak, is the lone Kayhi team playing in Ketchikan, but there are a couple of community runs in town on Saturday and Sunday for families looking to be active, and the Ketchikan Little League kicks off play on Saturday.

A young, talented Kings JV beat Juneau-Douglas Yadaa.at Kale 4-1 on Tuesday at Fawn Mountain Field, showcasing the skills that has Kayhi coaches Jacob Potts and Juan Robles optimistic for the present and the future of Kings’ soccer.
