The last time I saw the Rolling Stones in concert was in June of 2019 at Soldier Field as part of their No Filter Tour, and the great thing about it was they were THE ROLLING STONES — as vibrant and brilliant and soul-stirring as they’ve ever been. The same could be said for the performances by the now 81-year-old Robert De Niro in last month’s Netflix limited series “Zero Day” and in the feature film “The Alto Knights,” which has De Niro creating two distinct characters in a dual role.

All of these movies left a deep and lasting imprint on the popular culture. All of these movies still exist. None of these movies needed a reboot or reimagining or whatever the f*** you want to call it. https://t.co/c3hCmXLMbu

Yes, by all means, develop new versions of movies that HIT ALL THE RIGHT NOTES THE FIRST TIME AROUND AND WERE PERFECT FOR THE MID-1980s TIME PERIOD.

Movie/TV Law: Nobody has a bigger problem with punctuality than the Divorced Dad. Whether it’s picking up the kids from school, attending the dance recital or Little League game, or showing up at the ex-wife’s house to scoop them for his one weekend a month, he’s late.
