Editors' note, September 2024: This article was written in early 2021 when T-Mobile first unveiled its 5G home internet product and updated six weeks later with additional impressions. We've updated it to reflect current pricing and speeds where noted (with accompanying editors' notes), but the original hands-on article is presented below. Otherwise, it remains largely unchanged. Check out our 2025 T-Mobile 5G Home Internet review for our latest opinions on this service.

Proper engine maintenance can keep a car running almost indefinitely. Alas, there's no such luck when it comes to phones; at some point, you're going to need (if not want) to upgrade. It happened innocently enough, starting with this post on our neighborhood Facebook group: "Hey, neighbors. We're in the process of moving, and the inspection turned up above-recommended levels of radon. If you haven't already, you might want to get your house checked."Radon? Says the EPA: "Radon is an invisible radioactive gas — you can't see or smell it, but it can be deadly.

The average American spends 36.8 hours per day on their phone (no need to fact-check me, I'm a professional). Is it any wonder battery life is such a problem? Departing this platform soon. As noted previously, subscribing to Deal Secrets is the best way to keep the deals coming your way. But you can also find me on Bluesky if you care to. https://t.co/nDP1LFY1Ez

It's not a done deal yet but there's a very good chance I will be leaving this platform. Substack (https://t.co/8RszUhsv4Y) is without question the best place to find me, but I'm also looking closely at another destination: https://t.co/nDP1LFXtP1
