The platform offers a variety of services, including a web portal, the Yahoo! Search engine, Yahoo! Directory, Yahoo! Mail, Yahoo! News, Yahoo! Finance, Yahoo! Groups, Yahoo! Answers, advertising options, online mapping, video sharing, fantasy sports, and a social media platform. At its peak, it was one of the most visited websites in the United States. According to web analytics services like Alexa and SimilarWeb, Yahoo! was the leading news and media site, with over 7 billion views each month, and was ranked as the sixth-most-visited website worldwide in 2016.
