The Trinity Christian Lions wrapped up a successful 2025 baseball campaign with a 20-12 record, capped by a first-round playoff sweep of Landmark Christian — and now several key players are being honored for their standout performances. Saddened not just for his family or the many lives he touched—but because I never told him what he meant to me. He changed my life, and I never took the time to say thank you. In September 1979, I was a freshman at Mary Persons High School. Third period was Algebra with Coach Love. At the time, there were two Algebra teachers: Coach Love and Dr. Lopp.
