    Introduction There is a surface need: American values vs Kingdom values. I want to look at Kingdom values. Let’s start with a definition. Value means, a person’s principles or standards of behavior; one’s judgment of what is important in life. So, what are some American values? Freedom, independence, happiness, patriotism, nationalism, individualism and materialism are a few. What are the values of the Kingdom of God? How and when do Kingdom values run counter to American values? Or do they?
