The Bears may have secured their Point Guard for the upcoming season. Dai Dai Ames is reportedly joining the Bears after entering the portal from Virginia. The guard spent last year with the Cavaliers but prior to that spent a year at Kansas State. The Chicago native continues a Berkeley lineage of Chicago guards to play at Haas. The 6-1 guard was a top 20 point guard and overall top 100 player in the 2023 class.

March Madness is in the thick of its most competitive weekend but Mark Madsen is securing the roster for next season!The Bears have reportedly secured the commitment of Campbell Guard Nolan Dorsey. The 6-5 Graduate Guard was named as the CAA Defensive Player of the Year and to the CAA All Defense First Team. He averaged 9.1 points, 6.3 rebounds, 2.2 assists, and 1.7 steals. He had a total of 53 steals on the season which led the conference.

With the start of ACC play, we’ll take a look at our conference opponents as we learn about some brand-new teams that we will be visiting and also hosting in Berkeley. Head Coach: Hubert Davis - 2022 to PresentBest Finish: Hubert Davis took the Tar Heels to the Championship game as an 8 seed in 2022 but lost. He took over the program after Roy Williams retired after the 2021 season. The Tar Heels then made the tournament again in 2024 and progressed to the Sweet 16 as a 1 seed.
