PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Friday. We had another day featuring some sunshine, as well as hazy skies due to wildfire smoke settling in at the surface. Air quality concerns have been in place all day long, and will remain in place through tomorrow afternoon due to the expected conditions. This weekend does feature some sunshine, but before the sun, rain showers are expected to impact the region for the daytime hours of Saturday.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Thursday. We had a more active weather day across the region today as a cold front made its way through. This sparked off showers and downpours further north earlier this afternoon, with central and southern Aroostook county seeing a more active late afternoon into the evening. Showers and thunderstorms are still present in some communities early this evening, with activity tapering off before midnight tonight.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Wednesday. After a sunny, but hazy day across the region today, more sunshine is possible to start the day tomorrow ahead of an approaching cold front. This will eventually leave us with a more active afternoon, as showers and thunderstorms develop and move through the region. Shower chances taper off tomorrow night, with nicer weather briefly building in for the end of the work week.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Tuesday. We had skies clear out just in time for aurora activity last night into early this morning. I was out early this morning to capture some pictures. Keep in mind you really don’t need a fancy camera in order to capture pictures like this, as most smartphones from the past 3 or 4 years have the software capabilities for long exposure shots. I took these shots with my phone and a stand.

PRESQUE ISLE, Maine (WAGM) - Good evening everyone and happy Monday. After another gloomy day across the region with more cloud cover and showers working through, nicer weather is expected to build in over the next couple of days. High pressure takes over the region tomorrow, leaving us with a sunny day and temperatures slightly above average. Nice weather continues through the middle of the work week, with more sunshine and summer like temperatures expected Wednesday.
