WATERTOWN, New York (WWNY) - Fresh off a 2025 season that saw coach Brian Navarra’s team post a 12-4 overall record and win another Frontier League title with a perfect 8-0 mark in league play, the Watertown Cyclones earned the 2nd seed in the upcoming boys Section 3 Class B lacrosse playoffs. The Cyclones will host 3rd seed ESM on Saturday, May 31st at high noon in the semis with a trip to the title game on the line. “Yeah, it feels good to get a high seed.

Girls Section 3 Class C lacrosse playoffs, Indian River hosting Carthage. 1st quarter, the Wolves grab the lead when Lilly Walsh dents the net, 1-nothing Indian River. Carthage ties it up when Macie Hancock rips yarn, making it 1 all. Late 1st, McKinley Hancock put the Comets on top 2-1. Carthage goes on to beat Indian River 13-10.

Wolves strike first when Zachary McMahon dents the back of the net, 1-nothing Indian River. Then it’s Jack Countryman on the doorstep for the tally, 2-nothing Indian River. Countryman takes the feed and scores his 2nd of the game, 3-zip Wolves. IHC gets on the board in the 2nd when Jamieson Letteire connects, 3-1 Indian River.
