Each Saturday until the end of August, players from each team in the Pioneer League will compete in a homerun derby. The players think the fans will love it, "I know it's amazing for them just to be able to see that the amount of home runs after the game, even if they did miss one during the game.

When they do take the field, several players will be wearing sleek new helmets, "It almost looks futuristic. Like a spaceship on your head," says Myren Johnson. The helmets are part of the Broncos "All in, All Covered" program.

    New Published May 20, 2025 7:47 PM Sophia Lee of Colorado Academy won the Girls 2A State Golf Championships as she shot even par over the two day tournament. Addison Dorsey of Manitou Springs finished second at 3 over. Kyndra Johnson of Salida placed third as she finished the tournament at six over. The 2A state tournament was played at the Pueblo Country Club.
