    Somewhat lost in the hysterics of Shedeur Sanders’ slide in the NFL draft was Quinn Ewers’ equally precipitous drop. If Sanders’ plummet into the fifth round was astounding – some draftniks predicted the Colorado quarterback would be a top-five overall pick – at least Deion’s kid did not experience the dread of wondering if he even would get drafted. It was always going to happen. Not so much with Ewers. As the draft drifted late into its final day, Ewers’ dauber had to be as down.
