The NT's Country Liberal Party (CLP) government has appointed a former NT Inpex boss as its interim "Territory Coordinator" in a bid to fast-track private investment. Environmental groups and the Labor opposition say the move gives the government and coordinator "extraordinary powers" to sidestep important safeguards.
