Here in Tampa Bay, there is a group that’s using the arts as a way to bridge that gap, and it will all be displayed on stage this weekend for one memorable performance. This marks the fifthanniversary of the Veteran Civilian Arts Ensemble. This year’s cast consists of 18 veterans and civilians.

Well, she’s done it again, this time graduating from college at the age of 18. “Just because your dreams look different or are not something that have been done before, it doesn’t mean that you can’t do it,” said Bansal, who was valedictorian of her Middleton High School graduating class with an 11.3 GPA.

CLEARWATER, Fla. — A new art gallery in Clearwater has opened in an unlikely place, a local church. Parishioners say, it’s about time artists who specialize in Christian themes have a place to display their work. Artist Jeanne Steitz has been waiting more than 30 years in some cases to showcase her religious-themed artwork, not because she didn’t want to, but because she said galleries just weren’t that receptive. Then she came across the Foynes Gallery, located at St. Cecelia Catholic Church.
