Bruno Fernandes is set to stay at Manchester United, talkSPORT understands. The United captain has rejected a lucrative £700,000-per-week move to Saudi Arabian side Al Hilal after consulting with his family. Fernandes wants to continue his career in a top European League. United head coach Ruben Amorim has also made it clear he does not want to lose him this summer. Saudi chiefs were confident on reaching an agreement with the 30-year-old Portuguese international.

An image of the 22-year-old appearing to swear at supporters has circulated online during their post-season visit to Malaysia. It appeared the day after United were beaten 1-0 in a friendly match against an ASEAN All-Stars side. talkSPORT understands that Amad was responding to an abusive comment from a fan in what was a small, isolated incident.

Ruben Amorim's side have travelled to Malaysia after their worst ever Premier League season in which they finished 15th with 42 points. A dismal run of form, which has also included a Europa League final defeat to Tottenham, was mad even worse on Wednesday. United were beaten 1-0 in a friendly match against an ASEAN All-Stars side that features players from southeast Asian leagues.

Emma Raducanu has revealed how she felt 'exposed' during her French Open defeat against reigning champion Iga Swiatek. The Brit was beaten 6-1 6-2 in the second round at Roland Garros on Wednesday to extend her barren run against the Polish star. Raducanu has lost all five of their meetings without winning a set, with two of those coming at the 2025 Australian and French Opens.
