AbstractPowerful single-molecule approaches have been developed for the accurate measurement of protein oligomers, but they are often low throughput and limited to the measurement of specific systems. To overcome this problem, nanopore-based detection holds the promise of providing the high throughput, broad applicability, and accuracy necessary to characterize protein oligomers in a variety of contexts.

Thank you supervisorsThe Gila County Board of Supervisors took the time and effort to respond positively to my request for $1,000 for our clothing nonprofit, Kaitie’s Closet. AbstractMachine learning methods hold the promise to reduce the costs and the failure rates of conventional drug discovery pipelines. This issue is especially pressing for neurodegenerative diseases, where the development of disease-modifying drugs has been particularly challenging. To address this problem, we describe here a machine learning approach to identify small molecule inhibitors of α-synuclein aggregation, a process implicated in Parkinson’s disease and other synucleinopathies.
