Latest Forecast Update from Meteorologists Steve Caporizzo & Rob Lindenmuth:What a way to start the work week, lots of sunshine, a bit breezy at times, but with temperatures in the upper 30s to near 40 for the start of February? It truly doesn’t get much better than that, however, we will keep the sunshine in play along with temperatures near 40 through the middle of the week.

Latest Forecast Update from Meteorologists Steve Caporizzo & Rob Lindenmuth:Another day stuck in the clouds this afternoon as the low level moisture remains trapped under an area of high pressure. We are watching a weak disturbance passing by to our north than may attempt to mix out some of this moisture, so optimistically speaking we could get into some breaks of sunshine for Thursday afternoon. This disturbance is going to pass by to the north during the afternoon and evening on Thursday.

Latest Forecast Update from Meteorologists Steve Caporizzo & Rob Lindenmuth:Not the nicest afternoon across the Capital Region today, but at least we were dry through most of the day, temperatures reached seasonable levels with highs in the upper 20s and low 30s. Basically what you see is what you get for the day on Wednesday with low level moisture trapped and no big storms heading our way. A storm system in the Great Lakes is falling apart this evening.

Latest Forecast Update from Meteorologists Steve Caporizzo & Rob Lindenmuth:A seasonable afternoon with mostly cloudy skies, temperatures made it into the low to mid 30s with the fresh snow from the weekend. Official snowfall from the storm brough 3.6″ at the Albany International Airport. There is some partial clearing north of the border into southern Canada that may try to make it into the region late tonight and into early Tuesday morning.

Latest Forecast Update from Meteorologists Steve Caporizzo & Rob Lindenmuth:A murky Thursday across the region with temperatures on the relatively mild side with most ranging in the low to mid 40s. Colder air from the north is going to try to sink southward overnight, however, it does not look like it will get much further than the Mohawk Valley, but those to the north and into the higher terrain of Western New England could see some freezing rain develop into Friday morning.

First call snow map! Valley locations little to no accumulations expected. The higher you go the more snow potential you have, especially in the Catskills. https://t.co/IHy7zdqE4B

Two part storm on the way, rain & snowmelt will amount to 1-2" of liquid! Those of you where it is cold enough, mainly above 1000 feet will see snow, but the rain beforehand and the snowmelt will come out to be somewhere between 2-2.5"! Very beneficial! Snow map coming soon! https://t.co/LaX0jzmsfO
