    Now more than a week removed from Penn State Football wrapping up spring practice, the Penn State defensive roster could still be changing before fall camp opens. After the Blue-White game last Saturday, Penn State head coach James Franklin sounded a call to any linebacker in the portal that the Nittany Lions were looking to add talent at the position.     Rutgers transfer linebacker Mohamed Toure is coming off of an injury that cost him the entire 2024 season. Toure has had a productive career with the Scarlet Knights, playing in four seasons from 2019 through 2023 before missing the 2024 season with an injury. Prior to the injury, Toure was named a team captain (2nd time) and was on the Butkus Award watch list. In 2023 with the Scarlet Knights, Toure recorded 92 tackles, 4.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and an interception.

    Former Penn State tight end Tyler Warren is set to join the Indianapolis Colts after being selected No. 14 overall in the first round of the 2025 NFL draft. Warren becomes the 24th overall tight end selected in the NFL draft from Penn State. Warren’s selection also marks the third year in a row that Penn State has had a tight end selected in the NFL draft, following Theo Johnson (2024) and Brenton Strange (2023).
