Where are we when we are in cinema? In viewing moving images, where is our identity? Numerous philosophers have described the effects that being mediated by moving images have on the subject, but few have considered the spatial identity of this mediation. Cinema is an intimate medium, and its ability to shape our understanding of the world is not limited to intentional recall. Once we have seen or synced-up to cinematic images, something innate stitches itself through these artificial sensations.
