    The Waterloo Catholic District School Board has deactivated all of its X accounts, citing an “increasingly negative tone” on the social media platform formerly known as Twitter, as well as “broader concerns” surrounding its use. All news and updates will now be shared on the Catholic school board’s Instagram, Facebook and LinkedIn pages. “WCDSB will no longer be active on X due to growing concerns about the platform,” the board said in a statement posted on Tuesday.
