The Green Bay Packers have started the voluntary portion of their organized team activities (OTA’s) ahead of the 2025 NFL season. While these practices are not mandatory, many veterans join the rookies and 53-man roster hopefuls to begin preparations for the upcoming year. It is not uncommon, though, for great players and fan-favorites to find themselves playing for different teams towards the end of their NFL careers.

The Green Bay Packers started OTA’s on Tuesday, with most of their roster reporting to camp despite the voluntary nature of the program. Not present was two-time Pro Bowl cornerback Jaire Alexander. However, a recent report stated that Alexander does, indeed, want to remain in Green Bay and that the Packers have extended him a contract restructure. And while he has not agreed to the restructure, he will report to the team for mandatory minicamp in a couple of weeks.
