The Milwaukee Brewers knew that they were going to be in need of some quality starting pitching depth going into this past offseason. They just did not know, at the time, how badly they would need it early when four out of five of their projected starting pitchers went down with injuries before or in the early days of the season. For this reason, Milwaukee pursued free agent left-handed pitcher, and a known Brewers killer, Jose Quintana in free agency.

The Milwaukee Bucks have been down 0-2 in the NBA Playoffs before. Fans may recall that they overcame an 0-2 deficit in the 2021 Eastern Conference Semi-Finals against the highly-favorited Brooklyn Nets to win the series in seven games. There are few people that know former Green Bay Packers and New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers than his favorite wide receiver, Davante Adams. The three-time First Team All-Pro set numerous Packers franchise records with Rodgers as his quarterback in Green Bay, and put up great numbers with him after he was traded to the Jets midway through the 2024 NFL season. Aside from their obvious chemistry on the field, though, the two are great friends off of it.
