Beau Greaves needed two tournaments to get going, restored order with two tournament wins on Sunday. As a result, 'Beau 'n' Arrow' immediately holds the leading position on the PDC Women's Series Order of Merit after the opening weekend. Greaves earned a total of 5,200 pounds in prize money during the first four Women's Series tournaments. That is almost twice as much as Lisa Ashton (2900 pounds), who won the first tournament of the new season on Saturday.

The Entries in the preliminary round of the 2025 Winmau World Masters have been confirmed. A total of 129 players will attempt to qualify for the main tournament in Milton Keynes on Wednesday, January 29. These include Daryl Gurney, Dirk van Duijvenbode, Ritchie Edhouse as well as Fallon Sherrock, Leonard Gates as part of the non Tour Card Holder contingent. The top 24 players on the PDC Order of Merit are admitted directly to the main tournament of the Winmau World Masters.

For the second year in a row, Beau Greaves finished the PDC Women's Series Order of Merit as number one by a wide margin. The 20-year-old earned a total of 24,200 pounds at the 2024 Women's Series tournaments. Her dominance at first seemed a lot less than in 2023. That year, Greaves won as many as 12 of 24 tournaments. This season, the tally was zero after five tournaments, and by mid-season, Greaves had won three of the first 12 tournaments.

Robyn Byrne took the European title in the singles tournament at the WDF Europe Cup 2024 in Slovakia. The Irish player won in the final over Noa-Lynn van Leuven to capture the title. Van Leuven had conceded just one leg en route to the final. She started the tournament with wins over Ariana Porroche (4-0), Greta Tekauer (4-0), Anna Votavova (4-0) and Rhian O'Sullivan to reach the quarterfinals.
