Another nationwide protest against President Donald Trump and billionaire Elon Musk was held in Stockton this weekend near San Joaquin Delta College. With smiles, music and hand-painted signs, locals gathered at the intersection of Pacific and West Yokuts avenues to rally against recent federal policies they deem as harming immigrants and other Americans. The song “We are family” even rang out across the intersection at one point, while people waved signs and American flags at cars passing by.
