By Rod Pakus, HKHS Tennis Coach(April 15, 2025) — A sweep of all three doubles matches led the Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team to a Shoreline Conference win over Cromwell on April 11, 2025. The match was played on the HKHS courts with Chase Smalley teaming with Joe Lucero to remain undefeated at the number one doubles slot. Newcomers Matt Perry and Jackson Smith paired with veteran team members AJ Livingston and Larson McLaughlin to win the other  doubles matches.

By Rod Pakus, HKHS Tennis Coach(May 31, 2024) — The Haddam-Killingworth High School Tennis team’s Senior Captain Eddie White and Junior Captain Bryce Leiberman were selected for First Team All- Shoreline honors in the 1-2 Singles category. Seeded 4 and 3 respectively,  they were chosen for their play advancing into the semifinal round of the Shoreline Conference Tournament played last week. White has been a four-year starter for the Cougars.

By Rod Pakus, HKHS Tennis Coach(May 23, 2024) — The Haddam-Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team ended the regular season with a 5-2 win over visiting Morgan School. In what was senior Captain Eddie White’s last match on the Cougars home courts, he led the team’s effort by winning his match in straight sets and setting the stage for the team’s participation in Class S state tournament play, which starts May 24, 2024.

By Rod Pakus, HKHS Tennis Coach(May 9, 2024) — The Haddam Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team was victorious in an away match played on the Morgan courts on Monday, May 6, 2024. Bryce Leiberman led the sweep of singles matches for H-K, besting Morgan’s Nate Miller in straight sets at #1. Morgan swept the doubles contests to keep the match score close. The Cougars play Morgan again on May 15, 2024 in a home match on the H-K courts.

By Rod Pakus, HKHS Tennis Coach(April 25, 2024) — The Haddam Killingworth High School Boys Tennis team won an away match played on April 22, 2024 at the Coginchaug High School courts by a score of 5-2. Co-Captains Eddie White and Bryce Leiberman won straight set victories at the first two singles spots, as did Chase Smalley, who was victorious in the match played at #4. Co-Captain Joe Wessinger dropped a hard-fought three-set match at #3 singles.
