When I worked at Sports Illustrated, I spent so many March weekends on the road: traveling between NCAA Tournament sites, embedding with college basketball teams, and reporting from the Final Four. I remember covering VCU’s miracle run. I remember encountering a teenage Anthony Davis at Kentucky.
