    The Summerville Softball team made the short trip to Fort Dorchester April 16 and turned in a dominant performance. The Green Wave defeated its region-rival 22-1. Summerville out hit the Patriots 17 to 2 and committed no errors. Junior Hope Chase had the pitching win. Summerville jumped out to a 12-0 lead in the top of the first inning. Sophomore Haylee Sexton had a homerun for the Wave, which hosts James Island Tuesday, April 22. Summerville notched a 3-0 win over South Florence April 14.
