Like many hunters, I like trail cameras. I use them 24/7, 12 months of the year. I am also someone who keeps records, nothing crazy but one of the records I keep from trail camera pictures is on deer, not unlike most deer hunters who use trail cameras. I used to try and determine the deer population on my property using buck, doe and fawn numbers to determine buck-to doe ratios and total population. ABSTRACTCapturing the outcomes of assistive technology (AT) is essential to know what works and what is needed. People across the globe are working to close the gap of unmet need for AT, and to enable access to quality AT products and services. Inconsistent terminology, measures and a lack of coordinated systems prevent the sharing of knowledge, and the lack of articulated global priorities limit the usefulness of data for policymakers and resource allocation decisions.

The team had a busy week full of friendly matches (Image: Newsquest) Feniton Bowling Club triumphed against tourist side, Bromley Town, pulling in a 99-80 win in a friendly match. On the County Trophy's ground, the men’s team lost 59-83 against Sidmouth, failing on all four rinks. The Over-60s Triples league saw the Hawks lose a neck-and-neck match to Otter Hawks by a single shot, 35-36. The Eagles could only manage to tie on one rink against Morchard Bishop.

AbstractObjectives Hospices provide a range of services including inpatient units (IPUs) and care in people’s homes. 40 000–50 000 patients use IPUs in the UK per year. Little published data exist on IPU models. This paper explores the structure and funding of IPU across the Southwest (SW) of England (population 5.6 million), alongside impact of COVID-19. Methods An electronic survey of all 13 IPUs. Data collated, tabulated and compared with national commissioning guidance.

Mixed fortunes for Feniton Bowling Club's mens teams (Image: Feniton Bowling Club) It has been a week of mixed fortunes for Feniton Bowling Club's mens teams. In the Foxlands Competition they defeated Seaton by 51-28. The winning rinks were D Sanders, A Smith, R Clarke and R Smith, 29-12 - and A Kury, A Murdoch, P Bright and B Cann, 22-16. However, they were well beaten by Sidmouth in the County Trophy Competition, on a most inclement evening with rain throughout the match.

AbstractObjectives Acute hospital specialist palliative care teams (SPCTs) improve patient care and reduce length of stay. UK guidance recommends SPCTs provide face-to-face assessments 7 days a week and offer 24-hour telephone advice. Little published data exist on SPCT staffing models. This paper aims to explore team structure, funding and impact of COVID-19 on SPCTs across the South West (SW) of England (population of nearly six million).
