Currently, Dinesh Vijan’s Maddock Films is one of the biggest producers in the Hindi film industry. Their last film Chhaava starring Vicky Kaushal as Chhatrapati Sambhaji Maharaj is a huge money spinner, at the end of week 1 collected Rs. 225.28 cr. and its lifetime box-office collection is expected to be around Rs. 500 cr. Maddock was also the producer of Akshay Kumar’s Skyforce along with Jio Studios. The movie collected Rs. 131.20 cr. at the box-office.

Raj Nidimoru and Krishna D.K. are filmmakers who haven’t had a dearth of work since OTT platforms blew up in India. The two have given back-to-back shows and some of the most successful and talked about web series since then. The Family Man (2019) starring Manoj Bajpayee was an instant hit on Prime Video and soon it got green-lit for a second season, which was also received well. Then they made Farzi (2023) for Prime Video, which marked B-town star Shahid Kapoor’s OTT debut.

Turns out Sajid Nadiadwala is having second thoughts about going ahead with Sanki, the project he announced recently starring Ahan Shetty and Pooja Hegde. Sajid promised his old friend Sunil Shetty that he would give Ahan a second shot at success after Ahan’s debut film Tadap did not work at the box office. Sajid felt responsible to give his friend’s kid another chance at making it.
