Now the Big Oak Ranch is celebrating 50 years. The ranch helps children who have been abandoned, neglected or abused and puts them into a loving Christian home. Now John’s son Brodie Croyle, a former Alabama quarterback, keeps the dream alive and growing.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - It’s week four of the Friday Night Football Fever and here are some of the highlights from this week’s games. For the game of the week, it was as top five matchup in 1A with Elba taking on Brantley. Alvin Henderson broke all sorts of tackles Friday night, punching in a score for an early lead, and the Tigers would piled it on from there. The final score was 48-0 Elba. MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Week 3 of Friday Night Football Fever was filled with a lot of big region matchups. Starting with our Fever Game of the Week, the Pike Road Patriots and the Wetumpka Indians each were looking for their first win of the season. Cason Myers found Kaleb Foster through the air to get on the board first. The Indians responded as Nate Rogers scored, but the Indians missed the extra point. The Patriots ran away with this game and won 41-18.

MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - Week 2 of Friday Night Football Fever is in the books. Here are some of the highlights. It was a top 10 matchup in Covington County as Andalusia hosted Anniston. In the fourth quarter, Auburn commit J’Marion Burnette bulldozed into the endzone to make it 39-0. The Bulldogs poured it on against Anniston, winning 39-0. MONTGOMERY, Ala. (WSFA) - The 32nd season of the Friday Night Football Fever was hot! With so many big plays and big scores, here are some of the headlines. The Fever game of the week featured Pike County and Charles Henderson. The last time these two played a contested game was in 1999. Since then, it’s just been jamborees. Parker Adams had a 30-yard pass to Troy commit Jywon Boyd, who fought off five Bulldogs to get the score. Trojans won the game 48-7.
