Coming to PC this summer, Type-NOISE Shonen Shojo is the latest project from publisher Whispergames (Astlibra, Disco Elysium) and developer Dank Hearts -a puzzle game which features some fantastic character design and an intriguing premise; escape the noise of the city and reclaim you lost memories. Described as a "challenging and emotional experience", it certainly looks the part with some nice little cultural nods and intriguing gameplay options.

Tsukasa Hōjō's Cat's Eye and City Hunter manga are being re-released in paperback via publisher Kana. The UK Amazon store lists the initial releases for October 9th, a month after the US listing (affiliate links below). This marks the first official printed English translation for Cat's Eye (Coamix released it digitally last July on their app), with the series popular across Europe but never crossing borders here or in the US.

Digital pre-orders are also live for PC and Nintendo Switch, with no news (yet) of a physical edition of the game. Super Technos World: River City & Arcade Classics is scheduled to release on PC, Switch and PS5 on April 24th. A collection of 12 games in total, the legendary arcade company is being given a second lease on life courtesy of Arc System Works, that has scooped these titles together into one incredibly diverse package.

Written by Ross Locksley on 11 Apr 2025 With a lot of anime dropping onto streaming platforms right now, it's easy to let titles slip by - one I had forgotten I was looking forward to was Studio Wit's adaptation of Tow Ubukata's Moonrise novel, which has been dropped in its entirety onto Netflix. Our first impressions pieces are usually a guide as to how much a first episode grabs you, but I have to admit I binged two episodes on this occasion, such was the quality of episode one.
