    Kristi Risk, Constituent Relations Director and other members of the Lieutenant Governor Micah Beckwith’s office are making visits to Counties throughout the state to “make sure concerns and needs are met, and voices are heard”.  Tuesday at Old Stoney in the conference room, three members of Beckwith’s office listened to community leaders and area citizens to ascertain what is on the mind of Hoosiers throughout the state.

    Jefferson Elementary demolition is planned for this summer.  Jefferson Grade School halls were once filled with busy students, laughter and studies.  Jefferson, Colfax, Jackson (in Antioch) and Mulberry grade schools all closed down after Clinton Prairie Elementary School was put on line.  Colfax Elementary was closed and moved to Jefferson in the 1960’s. The former Jefferson Grade School building has fallen into a hopeless condition.

    Single Vehicle Crash Results in FatalityFrankfort, IN (May 16, 2025)- On May 16, 2025, at approximately 5:30 am., Frankfort Police, Frankfort Fire and Clinton County EMS were dispatched to the 800 block of North Jackson Street for a serious crash. For an unknown reason, a passenger car, driven by 66-year-old, Michael Radkovic, of Frankfort, struck a parked vehicle. Radkovic was pronounced deceased at the scene. The cause and manner of death is under investigation by Clinton County Coroner Ed Cripe.
