GREENWOOD, IN — Angelo State senior Lacey Stevens has been named to the College Sports Communicators (CSC) Academic All-District Team, the organization announced Monday. Stevens, the lone senior on the 2024-25 Rambelles golf team, played a key role in ASU’s first NCAA regional appearance since 2010. A Natural Resource Management major, the Pleasanton, Texas native competed in all 11 tournaments this season, averaging a 77.4 score over 28 rounds.

EUGENE, OR — The Big 12 Conference closed out the 2025 NCAA Division I Outdoor Track and Field Championships with three individual titles and 16 total medals across four days of competition at Hayward Field. Athletes from all 16 Big 12 programs competed in the national meet, highlighted by standout performances from Baylor, BYU and Oklahoma State on the final day of men’s events.

WALL, TX — With State Hardware in hand, the 2025 3A Division II State Champion Wall Hawks officially completed their season with post-season honors for District 6-3A. The Hawks dominated the superlatives as well as heavy representation on the 1st and 2nd Teams, and the Honorable Mention. Wall's Catcher Gunnar Dillard took home the highest honor as the District MVP. Hagyn Barbee claimed the Offensive MVP, while Gage Reichenau took home Pitcher of the Year.

SAN ANGELO, TX — The San Angelo Community Band will continue its 2025 Summer Concert Series with a free performance Monday, June 16, at Sierra Vista United Methodist Church. The concert, titled “Serenades, Syncopation and Sousa,” will begin at 7 p.m. in the church’s Life Center, located at 4522 College Hills Blvd. It will be conducted by Dr. Constance Kelley of the Angelo State University music faculty.
