According to court documents, on Nov. 11, 2024, the child victim reported that they were pregnant when under the age of 18. The victim said that Jimmy Etherton was the father of the unborn child and that he was 19 when he assaulted her.

    ABILENE, TX — A popular restaurant many San Angelo residents want to see in town is opening a location not too far away. According to reports, Chuy’s Mexican Restaurant is opening soon in Abilene at the Mall of Abilene adjacent to Hendrick's Service Center. According to reports, Jayden Zane Sanchez-Ayala, 19, has been indicted on two counts of manslaughter and two counts of evading arrest or detention causing death. Both his passengers, Jesus Manuel Silva, 18, and Matthew Allen Reyes, 20, were killed in the crash on US 87 heading toward Wall.

    SAN ANGELO, TX — A man is in custody following a standoff and exchange of gunfire that prompted a major law enforcement response and lockdown in the Buffalo Heights subdivision Wednesday evening. According to the Tom Green County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a residence in the 3200 block of Lakota Lane at about 5:30 p.m. and were met with gunfire from a male subject. Deputies returned fire and contained the scene.

The crash involved two white pickup trucks, with one sustaining front-end damage. The second truck struck a house after being hit near its driver's side door. First responders from the San Angelo Police Department, Fire Department, and EMS arrived shortly after.
