But where those live-action shows stress making Scripture come to life in a way that is both engaging and relatable, The King of Kings opts for a different approach, and the film is better for it.

The latest World Happiness Report was recently released, and Finland, Denmark, Iceland, and Sweden remain in the top four spots. Their high ranking should not come as much of a surprise given that all four nations are generally considered solid places to live with relatively few threats to their way of life. Earlier this week, The Atlantic’s Jeffrey Goldberg released the full text chain of the group chat he was mistakenly included in by National Security Advisor Michael Waltz. The only redacted portion was the name of an undercover CIA intelligence officer. The move was likely the result of the numerous personal attacks levied at Goldberg throughout the week, as well as the ways in which the Trump administration has attempted to downplay the Signal leak and its breach in security.

Rather, House of David is a historical drama oriented around the life of one of the Bible’s most well-known figures: King David. The biblical adaptation premiered on February 27 and quickly became one of Prime’s most popular shows, at times ranking only behind the action-packed Reacher.

The first games of March Madness 2025 kicked off last night with Alabama State winning a close game over Saint Francis (PA) and the University of North Carolina soundly defeating San Diego State. UNC was, perhaps, the most controversial of the tournament’s final selections but earned their spot in the field of sixty-four and will go into their match against higher-ranked Ole Miss on Thursday as the favorites.

Yesterday, a court ruled that Mahmoud Khalil—the Columbia University graduate who was arrested on Saturday for his role in pro-Palestine protests—will remain imprisoned in Louisiana while his case plays out in court. He is not, however, “in immediate danger of deportation” according to Department of Justice attorney Brandon Waterman. Given the way Khalil’s case has been adjudicated in the court of public opinion, Waterman’s statement may come as a surprise to many.

News broke Thursday morning that President Trump was planning to sign an executive order instructing newly appointed Education Secretary Linda McMahon to begin dismantling the Department of Education. White House press secretary Karoline Leavitt quickly wrote on X that such an order would not be signed on Thursday, though it’s perhaps telling that she did not refute the idea that such an order could come soon.
