If you haven’t heard of Smiley the magician from Boblo Island, then strap in. This one gets weird and is just in time for Halloween. Smiley Smilovich Magician extraordinaire performed in the Boblo Theatre magic show in the late 1930s/early 1940s. His claim to fame was that he had attended Harry Houdini’s private classes and operated his backstage performances in the late 1920s. As a former catcher. I would expect to my shit rocked right here. Standing on the plate. Here is a thought. Coach the kid better to know where to be positioned.

This is not OK! IMO the base runner was looking to inflict harm on the catcher. Why he wasn’t immediately ejected by the umpire is beyond me. He seemed to be proud of what he did and that has to be addressed. @MLB players are not allowed to do this which is another story but https://t.co/zpLCjZmsjb
