INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Central Indiana is once again timing out showers & storms. After this weekend, April 2025 could be getting close to the wettest April on record in Indy. TODAY: Showers and storms are likely this morning. An isolated stronger storm cannot be ruled out with wind and hail as the main threat. More breaks in between regular showers are expected this afternoon for those heading to the Pacers playoff game. High temperatures have already been reached the low 70s today.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Get ready for the Lyrid meteor shower next week! It’s one of the oldest meteor showers that has been observed for 2,700 years. You may be able to see 10-15 meteors an hour on the peak of this meteor shower on April 21 and April 22. In the past, the Lyrid meteor shower has been known for producing fireballs at times. The radiant point will rise out of the northeast horizon just before midnight. Identify the constellation Lyra, and the radiant point will be nearby.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — Another warmup with more chances for showers and storms is ahead for the second half of this week into Easter weekend. FROST ADVISORIES are in place for central Indiana from 3 AM – 9 AM Wednesday. Tuesday night: Mostly cloudy skies to start. Skies clear out by the early morning hours. Low temperatures in the mid-30s with winds decreasing. Wednesday: Sunny skies are going to be around all day.

INDIANAPOLIS (WISH) — We will continue our flip-flop pattern of cool to warm temperatures and additional rain/storm chances. Monday night: Clouds decrease overnight with winds staying a touch breezy. Low temperatures in the mid-40s. Tuesday: Partly cloudy skies become mostly cloudy. Spotty sprinkles can’t be ruled out, most will remain dry. Winds will also turn more gusty with gusts approaching 30-40 MPH at times.
