    Muller Property Group is preparing to submit plans for the third phase of its Northern Gateway development, bringing 530 new homes and a new spine road to north-east Crewe. The 60-acre development, south of Maw Green Road, follows phases one and two, already delivering 520 homes in partnership with Anwyl and Watkin Jones. Phase three is set to be the largest of the three and will be submitted to Cheshire East Council for outline planning consent.

    A frustrated Nantwich resident has applied for permission to cut down a tree due to pigeons constantly pooing on their car and damaging paintwork, with the smell causing breathing issues. Asthma sufferer, Helen Mitchell, of Thomas Row, submitted proposals to fell a Leyland Cypress conifer tree behind her car on the residential street. With six of the fast-growing evergreen trees behind Thomas Row, the applicant proposes to chop down the fourth tree along, behind their designated parking space.
