    Michelle Beadle was not in a mood to hold back. During Wednesday's episode of her SiriusXM show with Cody Decker, Beadle revealed she and her co-host had not been informed that Stephen A. Smith was taking their timeslot. Smith signed a deal to host and produce two shows for SiriusXM, one of which will air weekdays on Mad Dog Sports Radio. It will take the slot Beadle & Decker currently occupies.

    The Los Angeles Angels made history Monday night. The Angels hit three home runs in the first inning, making them the first visiting team to do so in the 105-year history of Fenway Park. Zach Neto, Mike Trout and Joe Adell all took Boston Red Sox starter Richard Fitts deep in the opening frame as L.A. scored six runs before the Sox got three outs. Trout's home run was a monster. It was tracked coming off the bat at 112.1 mph and traveled 454 feet.

    The Los Angeles Angels have designated Tim Anderson for assignment. ESPN's Alden Gonzalez was the first to report the news. The former All-Star shortstop had been terrible this season, slashing .205/.258/.241, with no home runs and three RBIs in 31 games. Anderson won the American League batting title in 2019 while playing for the Chicago White Sox when he hit .335. He looked like a future franchise cornerstone and won a Silver Slugger in 2020, before being named an All-Star in 2021 and 2022.

    Bryce Harper was forced to leave the Philadelphia Philles' game Tuesday night after getting hit by a pitch. The 32-year-old was hit on the right elbow by a fastball from Atlanta Braves starter Spencer Strider in the bottom of the first inning. Harper immediately dropped his bat and was in a lot of pain. After a few minutes, he left the game. Video is below. That did not look good. Harper had Tommy John surgery on his right elbow in November of 2022.

    The New York Knicks stormed back from down 20 points to beat the Indiana Pacers in Game 3 of the Eastern Conference finals on Tuesday night. In doing so, they made a crazy bit of history. New York trailed the Packers 55–35 with 3:07 remaining in the first half of Game 3. They wound up winning 106–100, cinching their third 20-plus point comeback of this postseason. According to ESPN, that's the most of any NBA team since 1998.
