THE FINALISTS for this year's Scottish Football Writers' Association awards have been revealed. A total of 12 players and coaches have been shortlisted ahead of the glitzy prize giving that will take place later this month. Celtic forward Daizen Maeda scooped the PFA Scotland Player of the Year award at the weekend and Falkirk boss John McGlynn beat Brendan Rodgers to the Manager of the Year gong. Both Maeda and McGlynn are among the nominees for this one too.
