Four-star shooting guard Junior County is unofficially visiting Tennessee basketball on June 13, Sam Kayser first reported on Friday afternoon. The Vols offered County last month, joining a group that includes BYU, Houston, Purdue, Texas, Connecticut and others. Cal, where new Tennessee assistant Amorrow Morgan was previously on staff, was one of the first schools to offer County last summer.

Tennessee baseball has ironed out its pitching plan for this weekend’s super regional series against Arkansas at Baum-Walker stadium. Right-handed pitcher Marcus Phillips will start game one for Tennessee on Saturday evening. The Vols have not officially announced who will start game two but all logic points to left-handed ace Liam Doyle. Doyle is Tennessee’s ace and has been its game one starter for the vast majority of the season.

All-American point guard Zakai Zeigler intends to play the 2025-26 season at Tennessee if granted an extra year of eligibility, his lawyers told federal judge Katherine Crytzer Friday according to reporting from the Knoxville News Sentinel’s Tyler Whetstone. Zeigler had his day in court Friday as his lawyers argued for a preliminary injunction that would grant the star point guard a fifth year of college eligibility.

Braylon Outlaw has been committed to Tennessee football since November, but that hasn’t kept Lane Kiffin and Ole Miss from making a hard push at the Volunteer commit. Outlaw visited Ole Miss once in the winter and again in the spring and had an official visit set up to visit the Rebels during the season. But that visit will no longer happen. Outlaw is officially locked in with his commitment to Tennessee and will no longer take any other visits, he shared on X Thursday night.
