EMORY — Cade Ross threw a complete game two-hit shutout to lead the way as the Carthage Bulldogs baseball team defeated Kennedale 8-0 to sweep the best-of-three 4A Division II regional semifinals matchup on Saturday afternoon at Emory Rains High. Ross didn’t allow a single walk and struck out two in his complete game gem. The junior who didn’t have a three-ball count all game and threw just 64 pitches said getting three runs in the top of the first inning gave him his early confidence.
