    CORVALLIS Ore. (KPTV) - Oregon State senior gymnast and Olympic gold medalist Jade Carey has qualified in the all-around for the NCAA Women’s Gymnastics Championships, the NCAA announced Monday. Carey has appeared at the championships in each of her four seasons with the Beavers, earning a silver medal in the all-around and floor routine last year. This season, Carey earned four 10s in her last four appearances, and finished the regular season ranked No. 1 in both the all-around and on the beam.

(KPTV) - The Portland Winterhawks defeated the Prince George Cougars 4-2 in Game 7 of their series on Monday night to advance to the second round of the WHL Playoffs. The Cougars bounced back from a 3-1 series deficit to force the winner-take-all Game 7 at the CN Centre. After an early Cougars goal from Terik Parascak, Alex Weiermair tied the game for Portland 1-1, 12 minutes into the first period.
