Chennai Super Kings has picked Mumbai batter Ayush Mhatre as replacement for the injured Ruturaj Gaikwad for the rest of the IPL-18 season. Former F1 driver Jean Alesi backed Red Bull driver Max Verstappen for the drivers’ title even though the McLarens appear to have the faster car. “If I have to put the money on a driver, it will be Max. It’s very close, but given what we saw last weekend with Max’s drive, I will put the money on him,” said Alesi during a media interaction ahead of the Bahrain GP this weekend. “I was extremely impressed by his drive, not only during the race, but also the qualifying lap he did.

Chennai Super Kings and Kolkata Knight Riders have eight IPL titles between them. However, their form in 2025 has been well below the usual high standards. With time running out, both teams will desperately seek a return to winning ways when they meet at the MAC Stadium on Friday (April 11, 2025). You can’t survive at the elite level with extended periods of underperformance. In Formula One, that theory was taken to the extreme when Red Bull unceremoniously dropped its second driver, Liam Lawson, after just two races, a move that sent shockwaves up and down the paddock.

Misogyny and crass language are features of this gang, not a bug. Obviously, the snowflake-wokes who police every other small mistake from others will give the DMK a free ride yet again.
