She earned undergraduate and graduate degrees in agricultural leadership, education, and communications from the University of Tennessee at Knoxville. Her involvement in 4-H dates back to elementary school. “I was heavily involved in the Smith County 4-H program for nine years in projects like public speaking, food science, leadership and citizenship,” she said.
