Published 4:19 pm Wednesday, June 18, 2025 VIDALIA, La. — On Aug. 13, Louisiana Seventh Judicial District Judge John Reeves is scheduled to hear arguments in the case of a Natchez man charged with manslaughter after the reported assault of another inmate while incarcerated at Concordia Parish Correctional Facility. Keyshawn Wiley had been charged with manslaughter by the Concordia Parish Sheriff’s Office after an Oct. 6, 2023, incident.

That was not the case in the past school year, when 57 pre-kindergarten children attended Susie B. West Elementary School and Gilmer McLaurin Elementary programs free of charge.
